An Amazon Package-Shaped Cake Bought By A U.S. Man To Surprise His Wife

Leaving behind cliche cakes formed like Louis Vuitton bags, high heels, and Tiffany boxes, a witty husband surprised his spouse with a customized cake formed like certainly one of her very favorite things – an Amazon package.

For her 39th birthday, photographer Emily McGuire blew candles on the Amazon delivery-shaped cake with true-to-life edible details such as a customized delivery label and Amazon Prime box tape, Today Show reported on Thursday.

“As soon as I noticed the cake, I used to be like, ‘He gets me.’ I felt so understood!” the report quoted the photographer from North Carolina as saying.

McGuire’s love for the world’s largest online retailer runs deep, and she clicks the “Add to Cart” button a minimum of 3 times a week, the report stated.

Going to Instagram to share pictures of the unique cake, the photographer wrote, “While you order so much from Amazon, you get an Amazon box cake.”

In the meantime, Sweet Dreams Bakery of Dunn, which made the cake, is having fun with a taste of viral fame. After the Amazon package cake was shared on Fb, it rapidly racked up more than 26,000 likes and 19,000 shares, the report added.

Brent Norris, who co-owns Sweet Dreams Bakery of Dunn with his spouse Trena, mentioned the cake took eight hours to finish.
